Studying the error of customers running counters

Priority:

Studying the error of customers running counters and recognizing the reasons of occurred error in them and determining modified actions to remove the problems.

General problem (problem):

The percent of water without income which resulted in running counters’ error in West.Azarbaijan province is almost 5%-15%. It causes not only the sector income decrease but also the subscribers neglect to save water.

Causes and necessity of project:

As more than 10% of the sector revenues are wasted due to the available errors of counters function, it is necessary to do studies and surveys and provide essential strategies to solve the problems.

Expected results and goals:

- Identify the reasons of occurred errors in the subscribers water counters operation.

- Determine water percent without revenues resulted in subscribers’ water counters errors.

- Determine the most suitable counter to install in different cities of the province considering different dimensions.

- Determine necessary requirements to solve problems of the available counters considering economical analyses and justification.

Duration of the proposed project:

- 18 months is required to do the research in Urmia.
